The “Running for Ronald” 5k event is the brainchild and annual project of the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte’s Teen Volunteer Board. This year’s group is comprised of 38 junior and senior high school students from 17 area schools – and they’ve been hard at work planning to make this year’s event an awesome experience for all! Running for Ronald is a 5K race and walk-a-thon perfect for athletes at any level! Held on the cross country course at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, this event offers something for the whole family. Enjoy a beautiful day of fun and fitness on the course, followed by a family carnival complete with activities, games, food and music! Compete on your own or with a team of friends or colleagues! Invite your pals to cheer you on!
