Do you have an idea for a fund-raising event or activity?
We appreciate your energy and enthusiasm. Following are some general guidelines to help you plan, organize and host a successful fund-raiser:
- Set a realistic goal – Clearly communicate your goal when asking friends and family to help
- Complete our Third Party Fund-raising Application Form, and submit it to the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte for approval
- Invite friends and family to help you organize and host your fund-raiser/event
- Consider the venue – perhaps your church, home or neighborhood park where you know people and are familiar with the environment
Some fun ideas for fund-raising might be:
- Bake sale
- Housewarming party
- Lemonade stand
- Yard sale
- Car wash
- Walk-a-thon
- Ask for donations to Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte in lieu of gifts
