Development and Events Intern
Description:
- Works with Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte Development and Communications Director to help coordinate events, assists with event planning committee functions
- Assists in the development of a sustainable budget for various projects
- Assists in the development and distribution of marketing materials
- Communicates by phone, e-mail and written word with various vendors and the general public regarding various Ronald McDonald House initiatives
- Assists in direct solicitation efforts including item requests and small financial gifts
- Performs basic office functions (answer phones, help with data entry, prepare mailings, etc.)
- Assists with donor database management
Volunteer Services Intern
Description:
- Works with Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte Volunteer Services Director to help coordinate daily in-House volunteer activities, such as meals, cookie baking, cleaning teams and more
- Assists in the development of volunteer newsletter content
- Assists in the development of volunteer training materials
- Communicates by phone, e-mail and written word with scheduled volunteer groups
- Performs basic office functions (answer phones, help with data entry, mailings, etc.)
- Assists with volunteer database management
