Our Charlotte House

We understand that many of our families will travel far from home to stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte. Having a comfortable, inviting home-like environment is important to the well-being of the entire family.

The House is located in the beautiful Myers Park area of Charlotte, close to uptown Charlotte, and close to both major children’s hospitals – Levine Children’s Hospital and Hemby Children’s Hospital.

The House features:

  • 35,000 square feet of living space
  • 28 bedrooms/suites, each with private bath (one family per room)
  • community kitchen
  • great room
  • learning center/computer room
  • playground
  • sitting porch

Members of the community and businesses in Charlotte donate meals, and a 24-hour professional staff and volunteers manage daily operations and coordinate all services to accommodate specific family needs. To maintain our facility and support services, we rely on gracious financial and in-kind support from our community and a modest donation from families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.
