Keeping families close when they need it most
Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte provides a safe, affordable and caring "home-away-from-home" for the families of children receiving treatment in Charlotte-area medical facilities. Families are stronger when they are together, and this is never more important than when a child is sick or injured. By offering families a haven less than one mile from our partner hospitals, we increase their ability to spend more time with their child, interact with their clinical care team and participate in critical medical decisions.
You can help Sydney stay close to her family!
Sydney has been sick since she was 4 months old, relying on expert medical care for the past 15 years. She and her family have been away from home seeking medical treatment in Charlotte for 368 nights and counting. Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte has been there every step of the way.
RMH of Charlotte serves over 500 families each year, keeping them close to one another during the most critical times. With your support, you will ensure that families like Sydney's stay together throughout the year when they need it most.

When the Beard family's and the Pacetti family's newborn babies were admitted into the NICU, they wondered how they would manage the hour+ commute to the hospital each day. Thankfully, the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte was able to offer both families a room, allowing them to stay less than a mile from where their children were receiving treatment. Watch the video above as these families share about their experiences at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.
